Мультискаттер - это сторонняя разработка. Он никогда не будет включен в поставку октана, только отдельно.

The standalone sphere preview was more efficient.
The Max sphere preview has not so much detail. I never use it.
In the render settings box you can set the material preview render engine to be scanline, since you never use them anyway the material previews will be black and not eat up vram.
or you could just turn them off, by clicking the icon in the slate editor bottom left corner, I also don't use them since it constantly re-loads material previews I don't need

я это знаю, просто добавить поддержку помимо вирей и ментала.. еще и октан , будет неплохо!

I love the fact that I can do quick animations with Octane since the introduction of the 'Do not update geometry' option.
Of course this excludes the possibility to use any moving or animated items. Is there a possibility to create an in-between option where you specifically tell Octane what geometry to update only? I am thinking of a typical architectural walkthrough where the 3d model is rather large and complicated (hence long export time) but the only geometry that needs changing is a few animated people or cars. Wouldn't it be great if only those objects were being exported at each frame?

At this moment without instancing it is impossible to update only a part of geometry.

Thanks for the many updates, Karba. As I can finally see there are no more crashes when switching viewports (at least for now there aren't). That was a big problem for me.
Just a question- is it possible to make the LiveDB material window expandable? Right now, once open, it cannot be maximized and I have to scroll constantly to get to the bottom materials.

Again- thanks a million for all the work.

P.S. Oops. Sorry, that was a bit premature. Didn't realize it can be scaled vertically like you said. Thanks.

You can increase height of this window.
