I have refreshed the installer at the top of this thread with:

3.0.4.61
- The current proxy rotation/scale sliders are now updated after using the Replicate function
- Settings->Max Polygons now has a maximum of 80 million rather than being unlimited
- Added Proxy Rotation->From Block Instance, which when ticked will set the rotation of the proxy to the block instance rotation. This feature is experimental, so pls report any issue you have with it
- You can now multi-select block instances which have Live Geometry enabled, and set the Baking Group Id and Render Layer at once. Again, this feature is experimental, so report any issues you find

Does OctaneRender for rhino renders directly into the Rhinoceros viewport, with full support for drag-and-drop, interactive editing and more…

No, the Rhino5 API does not support this. I may be possible in Rhino6 though.

I'm part of Serengeti; but not sure I know the answer... but the WIP is available now! :) ...

Paul: perhaps a better question is when will you start making octane builds for/using the V6 SDK?

I already have a build for V6 - but it would be out of date now. I couldn't download the Rhino 6 WIP - the Download button at http://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino/6/wip/changes takes me to Rhino5.

It all seems to be released through the forum...

Try: http://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino-sdk/wip
For the latest SDK (link copied from http://discourse.mcneel.com/t/rhino-wip ... able/30214 )

And the V6 WIP: http://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino/wip (have to use a browser other than IE)
On my phone it takes me to a page where you enter your email address and RH50 key....
