Would it be possible to bring up the Octane menu window seperately from the rendering viewport?
I often find myself trying to Alt-Tab when I render images in high resolution (say Full HD) because the viewport covers up the whole screen. Of course I could resize the viewport but then I have to scroll around to see changes taking effect in the render.
For now it works with using the viewport material picker - which brings the octane menu back but that's kinda half assed IMO. Maybe add an "Octane menu"-button next to the White Balance picker?
Now...I'm pretty sure there are more important features than this cause it just seems to be "complaining" on a very high niveau
And 2: Could you add a dialog that popps up if you want to close the viewport that asks if you REALLY want to close it without saving the image?
I don't know if I'm the only one but it happened numerous times that I had left a render running over the day, came home after work, wanted to save the image (25600 S/P) and closed the viewport by mistake because I'm used to the way Poser asks me that question?
Stupid - since I could always turn on the "Save periodically"-option I know - but maybe this could be added anyhow
THanks in advance

Is another option to enable "Resolution Lock" and then scale down the Viewport using the scale combo box? Then you can see the whole Viewport and the Setup window?
Whilst this is only a 5 min enhancement, due to my poor graphic design skills, I will spend a long time on the icon bitmap. So if you provide the bitmap, I can spend that hour on some of the other mods I'm working on

I will add an option in the Configuration where you can enable/disable the popping of a "Do you really want to save the Viewport" msg when closing the Viewport.

Fair enough I guess

Thanks a lot for incorporating the suggested changes.
I did these two icons here real quick, I guess the color one might be optimal, since you already used a bit of color up there in the other icons. PM me if you want something changed.

I had a quick look at this today, and wx.python (the PoserPython GUI) may not allow putting a window above all others. I will need to investigate some more.
