So here's something I'm pretty sure I used to be able to do but can no longer do.
Load an object (I'm using V4 but it doesn't matter). Bring up Octanes material list. Copy an RGBSpectrum node. Change that node to a Mix node. You can't paste the RGBSpectrum node into texture1 or texture2 unless you change the node type to something else first.
This is an example but it appears you can't paste any node into a node listed as [Not Connected] even if you could change that node to the type you are trying to paste. There's a work around of course, just seems awkward and I'm not sure if it's intentional.
Yes - this is at the top of things for me to fix.

I haven't had any other reports of this.
In theory, rendering an animation is just the same load on your system as rendering a very long single frame image - although there is some stuff happening to update the geometry between frames. There is even a 1/2 second pause built in between frames to make sure everything has had plenty of time to adjust.
- How many seconds per frame is Octane taking to render?
- Also, monitor your card temperatures and voltage over the period of the animation render.
- Have you overclocked your card? Try slightly underclocking it.
- Make sure SLI is off if you have more than one card.
- Are you using your on-board graphics card as your display adapter?

Yes I've checked all of the above
I have three graphics cards
2 gtx 780ti
1 gtx 660ti
The graphics card and the system are watercooled.
The only thing that isn't watercooled is the RAM.
I'm now wondering if the RAM is getting too hot
As the type locking I've seen it looks like it may may be a RAM issue
Usually locking like that where the whole system crashes
Is usually down to RAM? But I will check it and if it persists get back to you

You only need Octane Standalone installed if you are exporting from the Poser plugin to Standalone (if which case it is best to use the same version of Standalone as the plugin, which is 1.29).

If I use daylight in environment will be no daylight light source in Poser!
Also switch to texture environment and back again does not work.
I tried to find in the forum if someone already had the problem, but found nothing. (I'm not so good in English, please forgive me if I missed something to read)

You need to have at least one INFINITE LIGHT in the scene in order for the plugin to determine the sun direction. So add an infinite light to your scene and it should work. I wil change the plugin so positions the sun directly overhead if there is no infinite light.

Stop scene update.
If I want to add and delete stuff from the poser scene but leave octane open for when I want to render it to see what it looks like, why does the "Stop all scene and settings update...." switched off work.
With a big cross over the icon, the scene still updates between changes.

Fixed in the next release.
