Can anyone help?
It's working! What kind of scenes you did try?

Hello Ahmet,
please could you check this!
When rendering EXR/EXR-Octane Passes the AO-Pass is somehow wrong.
It renders only a bit on the left side. The rest is completly white.
Happens here in Version 2020.1R2, R3 and also R4 within my current project.
thank you!
regards
Mike

I have noticed that when you increase the cycles on the noise past 5 it stops updating in the live viewer (however it still updates in the icon window). Is this a bug or is OSL c4d noise limited to 5 cycles?
Cheers
Be more specific pls, probably you didn't try every type and wrote on first problem?
No.
Don't assume I'm that kind of customer.
I tested several c4d noises and yes they all stop at 5 cycles whilst the icon preview still updates. Scene file attached.

i tried 3 different scenes in R21 and than in S22. All have this long calculationtime. I don´t noch if this is a problem from Maxon or Octane. I have made a Video there you can see what i mean. Maybe that helps.
Deni,
Calculating and comparing with what? Did you check which process takes time?

Cinema 4D R19.068 on Windows 10.
Sample scene required, I cannot repro it
Not sure if the issue has been resolved yet. I'm also experiencing a similar issue with the upsampling option when turned on. The final render always results in this skewed distortion. It even happens when I tested it with a simple scene.
Running on 1x 2080ti and 1 x 1070ti cards
Cinema4d R21.115
I can't seem to upload the file so I've attached a download link instead.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

It's fine if you set width=3414 instead of a weird value(3413.333).

Network rendering isn't working with this version and the latest RC4 version slave daemon. Any known issues about this? My setup didn't change at all and it worked flawlessly with 2019. Latest drivers on both machiens.
Edit: see attached screenshots:
Edit: nevermind, my mistake. Got confused with the RC4 ending...

nobody else having this problem with AO-Pass?
When I render the AO seperately via Infokernel, all is fine!
So I see no reason, what could be wrong with my scene.
Hope for some support, because rendering all twice is very time consuming.
thanks
Mike

Hi Aoktar,
thank you for your answer. I dont know what C4D ist doing if it says start rendering, but i think in C4D S22 in every frame the complete Scene will transfer to Octane/GPU. How can i check this? In C4d console is not really any information about this.
Keep up your great work.
cheers Daniel
