Hello cmatias,
I open your files and render, here's.
tested using 3dsMax 2020 and 2017.

Hi Paride.
It seems we are definitely not talking about the same thing.
I did a short video to show you what I'm talking about:

Hi cmatias,
ok I see.
it depends on Ray epsilon (The distance between the geometry and the light ray when calculating ray intersections for lighting and shadowing. Larger values push rays away from the geometry surface. Lower values are more accurate, but can cause artifacts on large or distant objects. Ray Epsilon is similar to ray tracing bias in other rendering engines. Adjust Ray Epsilon to reduce artifacts in large-scale scenes.)
you wrong unit of measurement scale, your "cinema" is 18cmX18cm, good for a group of ants..

Paride

Hi Paride,
You're right again. I've certainly gone to fast making and remaking this scene and loading it on various 3DS MAX Versions and not converting the scale correctly.
There is a snail tamer next door , I'll ask him if he needs a TV for the herd ;)

Thank you very much for giving your time Paride, I really appreciate.
Have a nice week-end.
