Hi Ahmed,

Again great work, the automatic geometry update is a great new feature! Everything runs stable and fast.

One glitch I experienced is when I have a scene with motion blur and change the HDR image in the octane sky to a different one, the motion blur goes crazy and all over the LV. By re sending scene everything is fine so not a big deal at all, just wanted to let you know.

Best
Dan

I hope i didn't mess anything ;)
Good luck and have fun .

Hello. Big thanks for your work. But with last version render speed stay really slower. Lets see my example. This is huge scene with a lot of instances. 2.23 faster 2.24 more than 3 times. Scenes absolutly indenticaly. And why so much differents in render stats? Mesh, tri?
Cinema4D R15

typo? 2.23 vs. 2.24? "Very slow against" is wrong decision. You have 26k meshes, it maybe near to node limits. But there is strange different for mesh count and triangle amount. I can't know what's the problem. Need to test your scene.

Oh. sorry. Sure 2.23.1 vs 2.23.2.
Why render speed are so different? In 2.23.2 LiveViewer is too slow. Any rotating cam, now is big problem. In 2.23.1 was everythig ok.
This scene has big size. It will be difficult to send it to you.

Sounds very strange, should be opposite of. Because last version should be much much better in LV. Are you using automatic mode? It causes to create a lot of octane meshes. This can be a problem if you are on limits of node count.
In my scenes it's flying. Can't say more without seeing what are you doing in scene.

Read this:
- Improvement for editing the heavy scenes. New version is less cpu extensive in Interactive rendering mode. Also has a smart engine for providing best editing experience. We have a new parameter "Performance timer" in settings->other. Low values is well for updating in LV, but higher is better for editing the objects of complex scenes in viewport.
- Automatic mode for check geometry. It's for best experience for real interactive editing and rendering. It will make all objects movable. But be aware of limitation of object counts. Due of making all objects movable can cause high node counts. As you may know that Octane encapsulate all nodes in nodegraphs. There is a limit for count of nodes for each nodegraph as main node graph. It's about 32k nodes per nodegraph. So if you exceed 10k objects + material nodes, this can cause crashes.

Thank you. You absolutely right. Automatic mode was ON. It make problems for my scene. Now everything ok)
As i see automatic mode change mesh count and triangle amount in every my scene.

Hi, just installed 2.23.2... ;)
Standalone launches correctly... plugin for c4d (2.23.2) does not even appear in the plugin menu... 2.23.1 neither...

I made same mistake :)

You need to update C4D to 16.050
