for some reason it does not recognize my Version 2.06 OctaneLive Account settings, so I cannot activate the plugin for Version 2.0

I didn't expect the weekly update to start immediately (1st week) - there's work to do.

Question: The new OctaneRender 2.1 was released today!! Might that be integrated??

I wouldn't exactly say I'm surprised at this point... Does weekly mean something other than "once a week" somewhere? I mean, cultural differences and all. I figured on the first one not happening in a week, because that's unrealistic. Two weeks, however, without even a word, feels very... deja vu, to me...

Hmm, same here. I was signed up to beta-test the stand alone version, so the licensing for 2.0 is only working on that.
I use the DS plugin 99.9% of the time, so I wonder if the license can it be transferred. Can it?

I'm sure you guys have noticed that there was a new standalone release, that being said it has delayed the weekly release but it will be forthcoming. Releasing an update last week would have been a bit out since it includes options presented in 2.10. With the standalone now in pre-release certain features can be tied back to the plugin.
I'm sure the first thing we would have heard is why are these 2.10 features missing from the plugin. A few more quick tests and it will be on its way.

Check your license page to confirm that it show you are eligible for 2.x plugin
In some rare case, you may have to deactivate and reactivate the license for the plugin to work.

Thank you Tugs. As I mentioned, I didn't expect one last week, and am not really surprised there wasn't one yet this week. I was mostly just wondering why we couldn't get some update in place of said release, without having to ask for it. Having received that, I shall wait more patiently.

Apologies, I think if you have worked with the 1.5/2.x plugin you will notice that it has features that would easily save $70 over at Daz (built in Alembic plugin) Import/Export of standalone scene files settings and materials (except objects, coming soon) Photoshop/Gimp link to material editing and more.

hi there...

the idea to give a weekly update was a bit optimistic, as there were not much visible changes until now; this is going to change in a couple of days, when nge editing (with node type changes) is going to workagain. also region render should then work as expected, and loading scenes (still without oc data) should also be improved. 'am going to post it around wednesday - hope it is ok to leave the 32bit builds out, in order to save some time.

what i'd like to know btw is, if anybody was able to test network rendering... thanks!
