no, you should be more explorer. I did a test, chk please. box mapping does streched pixel on sides

there are red dots in the middle....But there should be nothing!!

this is result of your mapping on a simple cube. Check sides. It does same on your mini cubes. Sorry forgot to say, i did scaleY=0.001 on first example

yes, i tested last night the same (scaley=0.001)
but they are visible too, not strong but visible.
Maybe flat mapping helps?
but how can i map from the top???

u mean in C4D with polygone selektion?
Wont work, my polygons on the side, needs the same color.

Maybe I missed something, but it usually works fine for me to use cubic etc. to position a texture how I want and then go 'generate uvw' on that texture tag before I load it into octane. It would be nice if it would translate it for you, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
