Hi Paul,
Got this dreaded issue again. I will send you the journal file. It's on the latest 'debug' version of the plugin.

Again, I am on Win 8 / Revit 2014.

Activity involved creating a conceptual mass outside of the model when the plugin was not running. It was, however, running earlier. I got the following error when inserting the family into my Revit model - even though the plugin was not running at that time. It was late at night but I think it was after this that the model had lost the materials & proxies.

Best,
Hendrik

Oi vey! It just happened again. This time there was a .0001 backup file. Interestingly, when it happened earlier today, the backups was up to .0007. Just when I thought I was safe when I got past .0001.

I can't exactly call it a pattern yet, but this time I was again editing a family before the materials were lost. Again the plugin was not running and I did not have a force shut-down (which I previously suspected played a role). I shall leave it in your capable hands Paul.

Best,
Seeker

Hi Everyone - just a reminder - I need people to send me there journal file if this problem occurs. I have isolated it to a Revit bug - but need more info on where and how it occurs so I can code a work-around.

Paul
