A little update.
It is now possible to save with 8 and 16 bit png and with 32bit exr, per channel.
This was also possible in the old one, but hasn´t work with motion blur, which is now possible.
The use of OpenExr and png++ make it work inside the plugin...

The render options are cleaned up a little bit.
The "Misc" tab is removed and the underlying options are moved into other (new) tabs.

Hi, Face!
What future do you see for development of octane in with the official end of the softimage?

The plan is to use Softimage and Maya till 2016.
There is no other option and i don´t like it, but Maya is the standard, why ever...
After 2016 i will decide to use Softimage or Maya.
When nothing significant happens with Maya´s UI and workflow, i will give back my Maya license so that i can use only Softimage.
An other option is maybe Houdini or write a own application

Hello Face,
Any news about 1.02 and Motion Blur release date ?
It should be a good thing for Softimage users (good news are rare this time...)
Regards,

There isn´t much work to do for the first RC of 1.02.
I have at most to do to copy some code from one place to another.

Perspective projection.
I think i will add a shader where you can select the camera and plug this into the projection port of a texture.
It´s better and faster as to write expressions...

The next part is to implement the mapping types to the other shaders. Which is only a copy/paste.
And then, i don´t know. I think it is then time for a first RC version...
