It needs to be removed. I'll make a new build without it

Flat mapped how? Moving it how?

Seems to be working fine for me using a TextureProjection node on an ImageTexture node.

Hello,

Octane V4.05 - R6 crashes C4D when trying to render. I'm running C4D vR20.059 on Windows 10 Pro 1903 build 18362.418 with 2x2080 Ti FE's (non SLI) and an Intel core i9-9900K w/64GB ram. The render gets to frame 4 and crashes every time. I've baked all my deformers, etc down so that it's only a mesh object and I'm having the same issue. No CUDA errors. GPU drivers are up to date (V436.48). I rolled back Octane to V4.02.1 - R3 hoping that would work but no dice. Still crashing. It's simple text with alpha, shouldn't be that complicated. I'm under a deadline so I'll have to port everything over to Redshift to get this out, but I really want to know what is causing the crash. Please help!

Thanks,

-B

Hey everyone.
Recently updated to 4.05-R6 and constantly getting the error in the LV "Render Failure!!! Check console window and octane log window". I didn't find any certain conditions under which it happens. I start orbiting in the viewport or moving lights and in a 30-60 secs the error pops up. It happens in every scene. Basically I put a primitive and add any lights (though I didn't check what happens without lights) and it crashes.
Specs are:
Win 10 64
Cinema 4D r21.026
Intel Core i9 7940x
4x 1080ti
4x G.Skill F4-4000c19-16GTZKK DDR4 (64 gb total)

Below is a screencap of the error and scene setup

Thanks in advance. Cheers!

People who have random render failures, please read release notes. And try clean install WITH LATEST NVIDIA STUDIO DRIVERS. Also do not use overclocked gpus.

Yes. You are totally right. Studio drivers worked like charm. Though it's surprising, that all the time I used game ready versions. Thanks once again, mate.
