Can it be that this version doens't refresh when you select and area to render and shows the right px and time for the area render?

I thought that was fixed 2 small version ago?

Just upgraded from the initial 2 release because i was working on a project.

Or am I doing something wrong.

My workflow is now:
- Let the picture render a few px.. usually about 10
- Pause
- select the area to render
- play
- let render

Thanks in advance for your answer.

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with a build against Octane 2.06 (no other changes). No need to upgrade if you are already on 2.05.2.23.

On the animation tab of the plugin if you mouse over the check box for Refresh Scene Each Frame it says "Check this box to refresh the while scene rather than....". Should be "whole" instead of "while". Pretty sure if you change that, the plugin will be a million times better. :D

Done in the next release.

Thanks

Below is an experimental release (ie. TEST, not STABLE), for those interested.

2.6.0.24
- Added additional memory management checks to release memory when closing the plugin
- Added option to import a material from an Octane Standalone ORBX file. The ORBX file must have one single material not connected to a mesh in order for the inport to work. This option is available by rightclicking an Octane material in the Materials tab of the plugin
- The HDR Light Studio project is now saved in the Poser pz3, and reloaded when you reload the Poser scene and re-open HDR Light Studio. This does not work for the demo version of HDR Light Studio. NOTE: At this stage you need to move a light in HDRLS in order to get the temp HDR to generate. This will hopefully be fixed in the next release.
- Added option to do a Production render of the HDR Light Studio environment. This will automatically store the resulting image in the Poser environment, and the resulting image will not be deleted by HDR Light Studio. This does not work for the demo version of HDR Light Studio. NOTE: You need to task swap to HDR Light Studio after selecting the Render Environment menu option in order to access the Production Render dialog in HDR Light Studio. This will hopefully be automated in the next release.

On further testing, it looks like everything i working fine, and this is not a problem. If you have NOT done a Production render via HDR Light Studio, you will need to open HDR Light Studio in order for it to supply Octane the HDR image.
You need to task swap to HDR Light Studio after selecting the Render Environment menu option in order to access the Production Render dialog in HDR Light Studio.
The solution for this is to enable "Project"->"Always On Top".

Great news and thanks for all the work you put into this project, Paul. Chapeau!
... now I just need something like a lottery jackpot to get HDRLS =)
