Is it was designed to be like that?
Open "Live viewer window" / it will automaticly open "Octane Dialog" .
Set maxsamples to 1000 for example.
Add simple cube in scene and push "Render button".
Scene will start to render in live viewer window.
Close "Octane Dialog" window and render will be paused.
Open "Octane Dialog" again and Cinema will hang.
This bug was in previous betas too.
....
Activation problem and crash of Cinema R15 on Windows 8 is still there.
Just deactivate your plugin or simply delete this folder :
C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\OctaneRender
It will remove any activation data for Standalone and Plugins.
Try to start cinema R15 and you will be prompted for Octane Standalone activation.Standalone will be activated and then Cinema will try to spam your network trying to reach Otoy server and will crash.
This is annoying stuff...

Uncia: is this a bugreport? Can't see any bugreport.zip, other files, sshot or something. I haven't this problem, anyone else?
Win8 and R15 has a weird problem on some systems and looking for that

Hi All,
I have some questions. Some users are reporting startup crash or problem with R15. But i notified these are on Windows8.1, thinking a we have a conflict with Win8.1. Can anybody who worked on Win8 agree or not for this idea?

Windows 8 here. The only thing i have noticed, is when activating, we needed to activate on r14 first and then r15 would work. If we didn't activate on r14 first, then Win8 would crash every time when opening r15

At least as a Team render node, the Mac's are working in Team Render. I have not tried using the Mac as the host computer yet however.
Got 12 Titans pumping out a scene right now from 2 PC's and 2 Mac's.

can you corfim the R15 for Mac is working smoothly?
