I'm a new comer to the c4d plugin. I previously used the Maya plugin (I won't say anymore about that... ) Firstly let me say I love this implementation in c4d. It is superb....you've done an amazing job with this.

The issue I'm having is that i'm trying to use osl flakes with a triplanar projection. The osl node works just fine and I even noticed you have created a nice library of preset osl scripts :) The problem with the V-Ray OSL flakes is that it relys on mesh UVs which is a problem for most car models that derive from CAD data.

In the standalone OSL forum one of the users there added a projection pin to the osl flakes script so that triplanar mapping could be utilized. My question is...how can I do this in Octane for C4D? Apologies If i'm making an obvious mistake...I'm not very experienced with C4D.
Thanks firstly! I see what you mean; point type for parameters is not creating a pin for projection type atm. I'll check it for next release. Sorry for confusion!

Thanks for confirming this. Is this test 6.1 the final test version before the stable release is due?

Any ETA on the stable release will be for 3.08? Just wondering if my company should wait a month or two before updating to 3.08, or just update to 3.07 now, we're on 3.06. Updating all 20 machines can be time consuming, so we don't do it very regularly.

thanks!

Are we waiting? Or developing? C'mon guys, I think us paying customers are getting a little antsy.
