Did you install web driver for 10.10.4 first?
yes, i edited the 346.01.03f01 so i can run it on the macbook and installed it.
You need to right click on the NVDAStartup.kext and all other files and choose show content from the drop down menu.
i think i got this right but these kext files that have to be edited are just not there, so i can't open them.

it is the system library, the one that is not hidden
my HD/Library/Extensions
in the hidden (my HD/User/my Username/Library) library there isn't even the Extensions folder.

Group,
This is what I have
2014 Macbook Pro
AKiTIO thunder box 2
Corsair RM450
gpu EVGA Geforce GTX 960 SC
Has you see in the images like a glove.
I have read through the thread, could someone direct me to the simplest into getting this running. I am not a hobbiest, I use my Macbook Pro to make a living. I am doing this so when I don't have access to my render slaves I can still do some work and not rely on the nvidia gt 750 in my mac. It is slow for octane and it heats up my mac badly. I would rather heat the shit out of this 250 nvidia card, than my mac pro.
thank you for your input and direction
Allan

Parts:
-2014 Macbook Pro
-AKiTIO thunder box 2
-Corsair RM450
-gpu EVGA Geforce GTX 960 SC
Perfect...
Do not use the Akitio power supply.
Use:
-Raiser (

Tutorial:

Works on 10.10.1, 10.10.2, 10.10.3
I have not test 10.10.4 but MarioVisuals did, and I think it works for him.

My setup looks like that:
AKiTiO Thunder2 PCIe Box + Molex to barrel power supply for Akitio + EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2 Power Supply (I'm going to add more cards in near future) + EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+
MR
Meant to ask, what results you are getting with the 980?
Please find my results attached
123.73
