Too long UV mapping? What does that mean?
You mean Max UV mapping is not fully supported by Octane?
I'm asking cause i've had strange UV issues with Octane too, but the same scenes work fine with scanline/mental ray.

I was able to avoid the bug a bit if I stay under a certain amount of instances. Around 40.000-50.000 and it works. I was able to finish the project (client already asked for his renders).

Falloff map using in octane.
Karba, in vray i am use 2 architectural glass model whitout falloff + freshnel on (vray glass classic) and use falloff freshnel map at reflect\refract material slot + freshnel off.
classic glass

falloff glass (falloff to reflect + inverted (output) falloff to reflect instance map)

Try repeat this materials in octane (stand or integration)
classic (default vrayglass\octane specular)

pmc2000s

falloff glass (mix text (white,black,falloff mix mask) to reflect slot

pmc2000s
question: What is the parameter vray refractive in octane? to input inverted falloff map instance.

Мы нашли всетаки косяк в каустике или стекле.. не уверены. там же есть сцена
Извиняюсь за русский. просто это важно! . а тот пост никто не читает из разработчиков сейчас
