Thanks for all of your work on this, face
I am still curious about the materials in that old scene of mine, however. I still don't see the materials transferring over as they should. I still see the first of the arcs receiving the 'light1' material for no apparent reason. Any further thoughts on the issue?

Thanks Face for doing all this work to get an easier transition with xsi. I don't want to spoil the party for everyone, but you should think about charging for your work. This plugin could be a serious product for those of us that want to use xsi/octane at a pro level on actual jobs. Maybe even a paypal donation just to help keep you going.
As far as SubD's go, I believe an option for render level would be better. I can't think of any time I'd want to render from Octane with OpenGL preview level. Inetegrating some kind of camera dof picker in xsi would be great also.

afaik, we do pay the exporter devs. just so you know, it would'nt be fair for us to have them do all this work for free.

I didn't really think they were doing it for you guys. I was under the impression Face was just a guy that wanted to help the XSI'ers. Thanks for the info.

It´s only a hobby for me to write some plugins

And it´s nice that refractive give us a mark of recognition for the work.
And for you, adrencg, look at this
