Below 70C. The fans was set manually to run at full speed. At default fan speed Octane would crash.

portable 280m chipset seems very fast compared to desktop gtx470 how can this be right ?

ok sorry i hit pathtracing and ran the benchmark again

0.57mpixs /sec !

my rig is a portable clevo i7 920 6gb with a nvidia gt280m chipset

Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB, factory OC @ 715MHz
This is the new GF104 with superscalar architecture, but only 224 of the 336 cores are used according to the device manager.
The result is 1.82 Megapixels/sec with Octane Render 1.022b
