Yes it's definitely Mac. Many of my peers use the Windows version and it's definitely much more stable.

Not only "much" but solid stable.

What has helped a ton, is turning off material previews both in node editor and in scene.
Quick question on ACES: when I turn it on, it's one check box and everything looks great. Awesome. Does that mean I no longer need to download OCIA configs etc, I just go to settings and turn on ACES tonemapping?
One problem I have here is that the rendering gets a lot of white pixels and I can't use a custom Octane Environment (visible environment) as soon as I turn on ACES. Any tip here?

Yes, that's correct, if you were only using the ACES OCIO config for the sRGB output, then you don't need OCIO for that anymore.

The white pixels issue was fixed in Octane core 2022.1 XB4, so that should go away when a version of the plugin based on XB4 is released. I'm not sure about the environment issue, but that may be caused by the same problem, so please retest at that point.

It was caused by dark clipping areas. Increasing camera exposure can help but the best is to wait for XB4

				Hello,
I'm on an M1 Max MacBook Pro, Monterey 12.6. Is anyone else having issues with Open LiveDB not doing anything with this experimental version of the C4D plugin and C4D 2023.0.0? In the Octane Live Viewer I go to Materials>Open LiveDB and nothing happens. I have the Octane log open and trying to open LiveDB doesn't create any log text.
Thank you

Mac build is prime version and will not support LiveDB.
