Kalua,
I'm sorry I can't figure out why yours isn't working. I've attached four pics to show you the only settings I have turned on that might affect it. (My max samples are set low so I could tell I was saving the Denoise w alpha and not the Main, which I was.)
If it's not one of these, I'm out of ideas.

Sorry but what's tricky? Just click on button, call the save as tonemapped PNG. And open in after effects or pshop to see results.
I updated my last post. Take a look.

Okay. I looked at your test. (Nice work BTW) Have you opened it somewhere else like Aoktar recommended? I actually never use Picture viewer unless I want to see smoke or something that LV won't show but Octane will render.
And Windows Photos shows it dark if you have a dark theme. It's hard to tell for me as well unless I go into AE or Photoshop.
Here's the DVD I was testing with a cloth cover. Exported. The background is even invisible on the desktop.

That's great! I can also do it from Live viewer via file>save as... but I wont get it with the denoised beauty. (Already checked your settings)
Actually It's been like this for me since Denoiser arrived: I can't get denoised beauty with the passes via file>save as... And now I can't get it with the appropiate alpha channel via live viewer bottom buttoms.
It may be a silly thing... but I can't figure out what it is.

Sorry, Kalua. These little things drive me crazy as well. I was hoping it would work for you. I was thinking afterwards it might be the "Show alpha" setting in the options menu of the viewer but I'm seeing the alpha in your architectural shot in the LV.
Maybe aoktar or someone else can chime in. It's probably one little checkmark somewhere. If I think of anything else I'll join back in.

Sorry guys! Everything is working. What's problem hard to understand!
Saving passes as EXR and PSD is working with every passes actually as you see in LV. Also alpha with saved individual passes are working crazy well! There's not any relation with "Show alpha". It's just for displaying the alpha in LV, not about saving. Be sure ALPHA ENABLED in kernel settings and SAVE! And be sure you're watching the saved image in any GOOD software which is capable to show the alpha of images. Not with PICTURE VIEWER or default viewer of windows.

The one last thing I noticed, Kalua, is that at the bottom of your archectural shot (from the previous page) the picture viewer shows 8-bit rgb. Mine indictates 32-bit. I thnk somewhere along the line you are in 8-bit not 16bit or higher.
My PV shows black, too, but it exports from LV with the alpha.

Thanks for your patience, Aoktar. It's not easy to communicate these issues.
This is what I get in Photoshop when I save denoised beauty via bottom buttom (left) and the main image via File>save as... (right).
Tell me if I'm doing anything wrong.
Cheers,

I cannot know what you should do in PS. Here's two exr files saved as how you do. And imported to AE. You can see the result in picture.
