Good that You haven't RMA Your GPU =DDD know Guys who done that with semiPassive PSUs =DDD..because the fan wasn't spinning (what is one of the main features =p think after higher numbers of falsly RMAed products companies start putting special warning signs inside the box that Your parts is OK, fan is meant not to spin! (For those who don't read what's on the box =)

Yes I'm on 10.10.4. I've downloaded latest drivers and simply follow your instructional video.

I wasn't expecting faulty fans because there was one spin of the fans at the beginning.
I didn't want to push GPU and overheat it.
There is no stupid question to ask here and I know it now. Big thanks to jose and glimpse.
I've started reading this forum few weeks before and I did first render this morning and I'm very happy man.

PS. glimpse -> I must admit that I didn't read what's on that big blue label inside the box. Thanks to that whole setup is very quiet and will keep my wife happy!

Sweet. Good to hear. What chassis and power are you using?

Thanks
KJ

PS. I was curious if the next OSX update will affect Octane in any way (with the introduction of rootless)?

Edit: I said rootless but meant "Metal".

My setup looks like that:
AKiTiO Thunder2 PCIe Box + Molex to barrel power supply for Akitio + EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2 Power Supply (I'm going to add more cards in near future) + EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+

Meant to ask, what results you are getting with the 980?

You need to right click on the NVDAStartup.kext and all other files and choose show content from the drop down menu.
