I found the crash and it will be part of the hotfix build

Just updated to this version V1.9.1, but the error that I've reported on the previous version is still present:

"Inside the Octane Camera Tag, every time I try to enable the Imager, Cinema 4D crashes."

Thank you

Nik
Hi Nik,

Could you share a screen capture video of the steps before the crash, thanks?

ciao,
Beppe
Ciao Beppe,

Problem solved, it's something about the C4D interface, using a standard C4D layout the problem doesn't occur.

Thank you

Nik

One small bug I just came across: The depth dropdown in the Render AOV Manager starts off as 16 Bit in a clean new scene, but once you change it to 32, it shows as blank and can't be changed to either 16 or 32, it stays empty.

Ah, but the Material Link node is amazing - looks extremely useful, thx! Just this morning I was looking for a way to blend between two existing comp materials without having to resort to the old mix material or copying a large amount of nodes.

Only downside I've noticed so far is that the LV doesn't automatically update when I'm changing something in one of the linked materials, it only reacts to changes in the master mat. Is this simply a limitation? : )

Thanks Nik!

Could you share with me via PM the specific layout that was crashing?

This was an oversight. I'll see if we can fix this.

I've a problem to change kernel on my personal cinema4d interface. If i change kernel from DL to path tracing, there's a crash of cinema4d. Do i need to rebuild my interface?

can you send us your c4d layout file? but yes, rebuilding after a version bump is always advised. at least remove all octane related windows, close them, then open new ones and add them back into your layout
