That the plugin does not correctly render out TIFF with alpha?
TLDR
- C4D plugin issue (other plugins not tested)
- OP seems* to not be able to encode (un/)associated alpha in TIFF (most importantly, and PNG "matte" alpha)
- no issue encountered in Standalone 2024 and 2025 (beta and stable)
- OP's Google drive files available from the links in the replies + reproduced ORBX for the Standalone test scene

* due to the lack of a Cinema4D access, this couldn't be tested and confirmed.

ok I can confirm that the alpha is missing if "Multilayer file" is checked in the Render AOV manager tab. But only for the Beauty pass itself.
If that checkbox is off, then the Alpha is present (tested latest build and previewed in After Effects).

One workaround until we fix this would be to add an Output AOV with just a Beauty, that will have an alpha. All other AOVs (and the Denoised Beauty too) do have alpha.

Thanks for reporting.

Starting from Octane 2024, It stopped recording Premultiplied Alfa in PSD, PSD and TIF Beauty layer. It writes to PNG from the same file as before.
That is, in PNG I get a file with a transparent background in the right places, if the glass is semi-translucent, then the alpha will be appropriate. And in PSD and others— the beauty layer is just on a black background, the alpha is nowhere to be found. At the same time, alpha is present only in the Denoise Beauty layer.
Which version of the plugin where you using where it worked? I tried a 2024.1-R2 and it rendered out completely black, which I dont think is what you want either.

What's displayed may be deceptive, the date could be present.
One the ways to confirm is by checking the R, G, B, A channels, is anything contained in them?
