Hi akvahouse,
Thanks for the post.
The DOF is implemented in Solaris natively..
We can use the F-stop in the Sampling tab.

Hi, thanks for the new versions for Octane Solaris. I'm doing tests and some important things to mention. When I use the F-stop in the Sampling tab it has a limitation, when you try to use values below 0.1 it doesn't register it, i.e. low values like 0.05, 0.01 doesn't make any change.
I tested with Redshift and any value below 0.1 works.
My another observation is. Is there any progress for Light Linker support? Since this is widely used in workflows.

I'm seeing a change down to 0.01, but nothing beyond that.
Also, custom bokeh still has not been implemented? When you set the aperture shape to 'Custom' on the Universal camera we get no field to load a custom texture. There is just a colour parameter which isn't much use.
There is also a bug when using Optical Vignetting. If you have any amount set on the camera, if you break out of the camera into perspective view the viewport goes black, and sometimes you will see a very feint circle of an image in the centre. Like it's applying a super vignette to the perspective camera.
