There is a problem with the Octane gradient node. It turns everything red that is fed into it when adjusted. Please see attached file

It looks like the Octane Gradient node is behaving as if there is an "invisible" red color chip on the left edge of the gradient and an invisible white node on the right. As a workaround for the moment, you can add a color chip to the far left and right, then it should work as expected.marshalartist wrote:There is a problem with the Octane gradient node. It's a BUG because of my latest revisions. It is fixed on R2 build.marshalartist wrote:There is a problem with the Octane gradient node. It turns everything red that is fed into it when adjusted. Please see attached file
Delete C:\Users\ YOUR USER NAME \ AppData\Roaming\Maxon\Maxon Cinema 4D 2024_A5DBFF93\prefs oct.dat file. and install Octane again. Last builds are for 2024 C4D version.Amaterasu wrote:Where can I find the manual.zip? I uninstalled all versions except 2024 and for some reason the octane did not appear, but on cinema 4D R26 everything works, I had the same problem with the stable build
Double check your install for double installs which causes . You looks like running previous build:(2023.1.2). Also try latest Nvidia driversAmaterasu wrote:Update
Yes, that's right because the latest version is simply not installed, I tried to do all the above points and it is on cinema 4d 2024.3.2 the latest version of octane is not installed, on cinema 4d R26 all stood up without problems.aoktar wrote:Double check your install for double installs which causes .
