I cant render with octane on my macstudio m2. I have all of the necessary requirements. I lower all of my settings for render which defeats the purpose. I can build elements using octane but when I click render in live viewer it crashes. I have looked all over the place for system allocations etc. and nothing. please note i am on a trial vesrsion

c4d 23- latest version
Ventura - 13.5
x-particles
m2ultra

In regard to screen shot. That path doesnt exist on my system.

Hi jastescot,
I have wtitten you a Private Message.

About the crash report, the path exist, but it is in an hidden folder, you can go to c4d menu File/Preferences, then click on the "Show preferences folder " button.

But please, open c4d then go to c4doctane Settings/Log Output tab, press the "Generate log report" button, and share the octanelog_report.zip file, the crash report will be included.

ciao,
Beppe

Hi Paolo,

I have exactly the same problem.
After closing the Live Viewer, C4D crashes.
At that time I forwarded my problem to Beppe.
Is there a solution in the meantime?
Meanwhile you can see that C4D (Mac-version) seems to have a problem with the live viewer of octane.
