In this case, I would then remove the plugin, download it again, and reinstall. It could be something was corrupted, and this process can fix issues like this.

This is quote from release topics. You should read it and apply carefully
Requirements:
-You'll need to update your Cinema 4D to latest versions(R16.050, R17.053, R18.057, R19.053, R20.057, R21.115, S22.118, R23.110, R24.111, R25.117). Otherwise, the plugin will not work and not appear in menus.
-Internet connection for activation, be sure that C4D and Octane will not be blocked by the firewall and any antivirus software.
-Nvidia drivers at least Nvidia Studio Drivers(minimum 456.38) and be careful with latest Game Ready drivers which can cause cuda errors. Stay with stable one for you.
Installation
First, remove all octane related stuff from plugins and the main folder of Cinema4D.
Extract all files to Cinema4D\plugins\c4dOctane directory.
Also, download manual.zip and extract to c4dOctane directory if it's not available in place.
There are a few files for each one is for different Cinema4D version. Remove all except the file is for your version.
Ex. if you have Cinema4D R18.0, keep only "c4dOctane-r18.cdl64" and delete c4dOctane-r17.cdl64, c4dOctane-r16.cdl64, c4dOctane-r15.cdl64, etc..

I did all of this. I've installed C4d R25.117. Inside there isn't the named plugins folder so I've created one. If I try to extract the octane plugin zip file inside, I receive the first error message. SO I've extracted the Octane zip file on the desktop and copied this folder inside the plugins folder of c4d. I've received the second alert message but I click on continue and I can copy these files. Deleted the files of other releases, but when I start C4D it crash at 31%.

Try using WinRAR instead to unpack the archive (you can google it). Do you have admin privileges on this machine? If you do, you should have no trouble in placing the output anywhere.
I have a directory on my drive called, "Octane Builds," and I unpack each version into that directory, in its own separate directory. Then, I control-drag the entire contents into the c4doctane directory. Works every time without issue.

Hi jayroth2020,
I did all the steps in a perfect way, deleting and reinstalling cinema, unzipping the octane plugin with WinRAR, delete the versions different from the 25, I still receive this message that is the plugin that cause the crash. If I remove the folder with the plugin, cinema work perfectly...

Today, Ahmet uploaded 2021.1.4-R2. Give that a try.
If that doesn't do the trick, Roy, I recommend you open a support ticket:

DOwnloaded the last release, and did all the steps perfectly, still the same issue. I had already opened a ticket about this, here and at Maxon...could you please communicate with them? I've sent you all the screensaver of the crash that is very clear that the problem is about compatibility between cinema and octane...
thanks,
Roy
