Aha, ok:
You also can download it manualy:
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/ef/08 ... _4_win.zip
And unpack to this location:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\OctaneRender\thirdparty\cudnn_8_0_4
Maybe Octane is downloading an older version of cuDNN because you also have an RTX2000 card.
So it's better to do it manually.
I did this. Octane still wants me to install the 7_4_1
So I installed both, the 7_4_1 and the 8_0_4
Not working
Next thing i`ll try is to deactivate the 2080. Perhaps this works. Or I switch the PCI-E Slots...

It's a good idea to unplug the 2000 card.
Let's see if it works.
P.S. do not delete 8 cuDNN.

Deactivating the rtx 2080 didn´t help. Octane still wants the 7-4-1

Please download and run Standalone 2020.2-RC4:
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=76451
At first start, it should ask to upgrade the cuDNN library:
ciao Beppe

So I did some tests on different heavy scenes i´m working on.
First thing I noticed is enabling RTX nearly halfs the Ms/sec. I know it depends on the scene but before working with the 3090 enabling RTX brought a huge boost on most of my projects.
Secondly I´m a little dissapointed of the performance. Working with two RTX 2080 was almost the same speed as working with a 3090 and a 2080. Not sure if I should keep the card.
Just saw that "Number of Cuda-Cores" is not showing for the 3090:
Could this be a problem?
P.S.: Temps are OK!
