Thank you for you suggestion, gave it a try.
Switched it off , same spiking happening in the CPU utilization when tumbling

And have you noticed which program(Blender or OctaneServer) exhausts all CPU resources when spiking?
It should be also available from the Task Manager - Processes.

Is there any reason the OctaneServer is taxing the CPU?
And maybe a way to use octane locally , without the use of the Octane Server?

On my system, when manipulating camera in viewport, Octane server is using utilizing 100% of CPU power (all cores). While rendering 100% on one core.

Just downloaded the new version of Octane for Blender , same issue with the AMD processor, any eta on when you might fix this?

Have you tried Octane Standalone? Is it the same?

Nope
Standalone works fine , it is the Octane Server that is taxing the CPU .
