I'm trying to help for a issue which is not about plugin codes. It's something out of my development part.
Of course it should be specific to your system because me and others works fine.

I've just spent an hour or two in standalone after exporting the scene to ORBX and it hasn't crashed once...I've replicated the edits I did in C4D numerous times and cannot get it to crash...

Well! I could watched your video. Again It's most likely not a plugin bug. Something should be wrong on your side. Maybe SLI enabled and bridge connected.
Why don't you open Octane log window after seeing errors? Keep it and Console windows open while working for any errors.

Yes I always delete unnecessary plugin versions when installing, I'm on R18 so deleted all the other versions.

SLI is off in Nvidia settings but my bridge is connected, you think disconnecting this would make a difference?

Maybe. Because this corrupted results means gpus are not working well with installed version.

Plugin crashed but luckily this time Cinema didn't so I was able to get a log...

See attached, seems something to do with memory allocation but I'm no programmer so not sure what I'm looking for.

Hi! Any solution for this problem? The SLI, the bridge? I'm in the same situation...

Please don't contribute to older topics. Just open new topic or send me a PM for a help with details.

Me too man! I can't regular use octane and cinema 4d, it keep crashing after some time, render stops, all i can do every **** single time is to save (if i can) > close cinema > reopen cinema > back to work
If i work with simple things like a prop etc, it's fine, but if i try to render an interior or a heavy scene after some work it stop rendering unless i restart cinema 4d.

I'm equipped with dual gtx 1080, but this thing about SLI bridge connected is new to me, ill check it out! if the SLI Bridge (the physical bridge) is the cause of this issue, can be a very pain switch from app who require SLI and Octane.

Anyway just my 2 cents. Cheers

What's crashes here? Render failures(cuda error) or plugin crashes?
