Jim
would be nice to have some options in Octane Volume Object for loading a vdb animation:
- frame offset
- playback: play once, loop or pingpong
or is there a way to already do that?
tnx

godrays... ok this takes longer to render.
volume medium mapped to octane sun, 10 minutes rendertime, some noise reduction in lightroom

very nice. I wish e-on Ozone 6 worked with octane it had any clouds you want, haze, fog, smog what ever but it was slow.
Please otoy create a cloud generator where you see clouds all the way to horizon.

never tried godrays before. but seems to work
in the volume medium use "Phase + Schlick" and set it high like 0.8 or 0.9
hope it helps

Yes sure, these features will be implemented in ongoing versions.
After a current versions become rock solid (no new bug reports) - I'll start adding a new features (and new instability together with them)... But we must get a rock solid version before that - 'cause you'll always find some new features you need, so if we will be always implementing them non-stop, there will never be any rock solid versions...

Currently I see only one critical issue still left - some slower interactivity when using Forest Pack objects in 3.14. Plus not very stable current 3.X Octane rendering core itself... Other than that - I hope the plugin will be ready for a new features soon...
