Hi ! two years later, I come with I think the same problem ^^
I would like to have my animated background, which is a video footage, in octane render, so I can check if my compositing is right.
I have a background object, an octane texture with image texture in diffuse channel, jpg sequence, editor preview checked...
Still Octane shows only the first image of my sequence.
Thank you so much for your help !

Have you set range values in animation tab of imagetexture?

Thank u aoktar
Yes I set the range values

Could my range values be a problem if it doesn't begin by zero ?
my images finish like _01632 (first image) to _01957 (last image)
Thanks for your help !

Try with standard material and bitmap not octane textures.

Actually it's not working when I render... don't know why :-/ it's ok because I'll need compositing in AE but still, why doesn't it work ? :-/
