I'm seeing this exact same problem using Maya + Octane and managing the render through Deadline. Was there any resolution to your problem?
Thanks!

What version do you use? This issue was fixed in last version (at least it works OK for me with Topic Starter's scene).
The last version is here:
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=49192
If you are still having problems with the last version - could you please give me the scene with detailed description of "how to reproduce"?
But I can't guarantee the no-issues-work of the plugin with Deadline for two reasons:
1. This is Deadline product that must implement the support of OctaneRender among others renderers.
2. I don't have the Deadline license to be able to test it with Octane plugin.

Thanks Jim. We are running 2.23.2-7.4 so perhaps that is the problem! I will install and report back.

For future reference, you can run Deadline on 2 render nodes for free.

Similar isue here. A make a video of the scene.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5-JvAj ... load_owner
So, is a simple scene, camera animation only, the batch render just work with SINGLE FRAME on Frame range. With a sequence Octane render trough the Batch render don't work.
I have Maya 2015.
4 GTX Titan X
Window 7
Is very annoying to be ready to use the render but not be able to use it for animation. I will try the last version.
Thanks there.

We are testing Octane in our studio environement at the moment and from what we've seen so far a very neat and decent pipeline is needed if you want to render this on rendernodes.
Make sure you have the same software running on your nodes, in the same location, access to the same shares etc etc etc...

HI there.
On my end it was a problem related to Maya version. Now running with no problems.
We have one machine testing Octane. For now, no need for network render with octane.
Cheers.
