honestly ya I'd really like a starting point for small mid and large scenes
with a detailed run down of the steps to take in order
start here if that doesnt work try this
do this next move.... i'e coherent ratio up or down so many units etc. or filter size etc or whatever
Gi clamp isnt even listed in the manual for cinema4d

How many people are constantly trying to get rid of the noise
there should be a serioulsy detailed workflow chart with all the info in one place so everyone who is new doesnt have to search all thru the forum and try and decipher what experts are saying that doesnt make sense unless u know what everything does already

I'm just randomly moving things in the hopes it does it there has to be an easier way so people learning it dont have to go thru the same hell trying to get rid of the noise

Yes, we are preparing some video tutorials to help new people. But you should understand that i can't find time to code here two plugins, reply all questions, making videos or preparing manuals. Octane is continously changing, new things are coming. And informations in manual and other places, that's all being suddenly deprecated or replaced. Best way for me to do some help via forums and videos. Also i can't revise the pdf manual but you should check "Help Window". Also Octane is not so complicated to cry if you think vray, etc...
