Can you see any devices in Octane settings->Gpu Devices?

You should see your gpu devices there if you have compatible gpu and required Nvidia Cuda drivers. What's your gpu(s) and drivers if it's nvidia?

on Mac you need to install also the CUDA drivers, have you already done it?
