Any specific image you have in mind? It's Octanes own DOF. No post-DOF. I might have exaggerated the Apertrure setting though. I'm used to DOF controlled by the Aperture value - not a separate slider.

Here's som more shots. Refined snow details. Tried to do some footsteps with displacement but got loads of black (broken?) geometry. This is just bumpmap.
The interior shoots could need some more cooking. Little grainy.

Awesome scene and renders! I think you've got the mood spot on. But I also thought the DOF in some were exagerated. The futher the camera is from a focus point, the more subtle the the DOF should be. Closeups are a different story - I love that interior corner shot. More please!
