Well, I have done some studies. Very new empty file, 3 walls, viewport saved (the name is Pic2), rendertarget saved to view. 3D-window in AC is opened, Octane is opened, Octane Viewport is opened. Photoreal settings: View Rendertarget is grayed out.
I could understand the logic of setting viewports and using it as Batchrender in Publisher. I used it in AC16 for two months.
If you have any other idea what I mistake, than don´t hesitate to tell me ;) Thanks a lot!

No problem here... but my window of PhotoRendering Settings looks different then yours. How did you open that window?
And did you first open Octane and then the settings?

That scene worked fine for me too.

1) Which build of AC are you using?
2) What release of the plugin are you using?
3) How did you popup those Photorender Settings? They are showing different to Jeroen and mine.
4) Try loading in the pla you posted for us - does it happen on that file too? Sometimes there seems to be issues with pln's which are cleared up when saved to pla's.

Thanks Jeroen. No mention of Octane in the crash report. Appears to be an AC18 bug (but hard to tell as always).

EDIT: Doesn't show Octane as being loaded at the time of the crash.

Thanks for the answers!
The window was different, because I have the issue in AC17 and AC18 as well. I made this example in AC17, you could see the AC17, but it doesn´t matter, it doesn´t work in AC18 too.
I tried to open the PLA, the same happened. I installed the international AC18, was the same again. I tried it on other computers as well.

You can see the versions and buildnumbers in my sign, but I copy them here:
ArchiCAD GER 16-build4010 | 17-build8000 | 18-build5100
Octane Standalone 2.22.2 and AC-Plugin 2.22.2.43
If the buildnumbers are the same with yours, than the only difference is the german Win Pro 64.

What is the full path to your Cache folder pls (ie. what is [username] in C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\OctaneRender for ArchiCAD\Cache). Are there any special characters in your username?

The reason I ask is that that combo box is populated with the view files from your cache folder above, and maybe the special characters are causing an issues locating those files.

I have no special characters. But I found it!
C:\Users\architekt\AppData\Local\OctaneRender for ArchiCAD\Cache (I tried it with different users)

It was the Fast Cache! Turned on, doesn´t work. Turned off, it works. Excuse me, I didn´t know that.
