Strange, maybe the material database LiveDB plastic has some extra white in it? (mix material)

What if you recreate the material from scratch?

Not sure at the moment. I'm working my through it and think I will build from scratch. It might be better to fix in post. Maybe? Thanks.

Okay. Here's another test. Refractive index was left at 1.1. No octane override, just MODO material. Pure white. Seems to fix that issue for the plastic cap. I'll keep messing around.
