Er, didn't some people make an octane exporter plugin, that actually creates an ocs file for Octane?

Hi,
JimStar. I have a technical question: as I see Octane for Blender uses "C:\Users\<Username>\livedb\alembic\" folder as a temporary folder during the alembic export process. Is there a way to overwrite this path (for example, set it to "D:\Octane\livedb\...")?
Found this option critical when my alembic file exceeded 20Gb (my SSD wasn't ready for this
).

No, this can't be changed.
But if you are out of space for all applications' data stored there - you can always map your user-directory to some other place. This is even encouraged on Unix-systems...
