sketchup 2014 > octane plugin version 0.11.53

Now that's interesting. I think there are internal changes in the Octane SDK that I cannot easily overcome, but I'll do my best.

do you think this is a sketchup / octane problem or a serverproblem?

as i wrote, i don't have this issue with skechup 8 pro / octane 0.10.621.

ive been in contact with our network / hardware supplier, they say that i (my user profile) have all the necessary permission.

i run the same version of plugin on sketchup 8 and sketchup 2014 - but still can't write the texture :-/

what can i do?

Ok, so I have couple of ideas what might be wrong.

First of all, could you please check if the specified path exists?
///tmsrv1/users$/brj/Octane/SketchUp/temp/textures/

I.e. if your network drive has Octane, Skechup, temp and textures folders.

Let's start from here.

i have checked, and "\\tmsrv1\users$\brj\Octane\SketchUp\temp\textures" does exists.

but the error says "\\\tmsrv1\users$\brj\Octane\SketchUp\temp\textures"

if i use sketchup 8.0 and octane plugin version 0.12.142 (the same version as installed with 2014) it saves the textures the same place - with no problem.

i still get this error this frustration error, even with Sketchup 2015 and Octane plugin 0.13.82.

i really don't know what to do - sketchup 8.0 still works fine.
i have been talking to our network / server provider, they say that everything is ok on the server.

i think that there is something wrong with the path that Octane tries to use:

this does not work
////tmsrv1/users$/brj/octane/sketchup/temp/su_textures/

this works
\\tmsrv1\users$\brj\octane\sketchup\temp\su_textures\

i'm sorry that our userfiles are on a server - but it's out of my hands.

i hope that you can help, as i would like to use your nice plugin
