actually currently I'm running 12 gb forgot to update sig, the other 12 gb is in another desktop, supposed to be temporary..
- the RAM memory is not the bottleneck, VRAM is not adding together, every gpu uses the same memory copied accross sort off, each gpu renders one part..
- check if you have enough power, that can have an impact of course
- all my risers are the same 16x to 16x, and your setup looks pretty compaerd to mine

... - BTW all usb risers are 1x speed - I calculated and with 1.5 gb system the difference in speeds is not that much.. so that should be enough..
- drivers, I don't even know - I think it updates automatically - yes I do sometimes get some driver failures, freezes.. not often enough to do an overhaul..
- temperatures need to be under 90 - it is very easy to overcook them
- I'm monitorin temps via some windows dekstop gadgets, - desktop gadgets are not recommended due to security issues, but I like to live dangerously
.. yep, it was quite difficult to fit 5 graphic cards, but it worked out, sometimes it just has some incredible stupid bugs which requires me to detach the first card, restart, then attach it again etc.. you have to learn what your system likes sort of, take a day to just work out the issues.. I know I had one particular setting in bios that would bluescreen me like every 30 sec or every few hours .. c1 execute bit - set to off - I think..
anyway, happy burning, good thing is those gpus heat the room nicely when it gets colder, sometimes I just run a render to heat up the room
