Hi Jim,
Thanks for the updates
I just noticed the blank time stamp and hash info on the splash.
Are you compiling msvc 2013 with scons?
I just add TortoiseSVN (or SlikSVN) to my path =
set "PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin"
Then I get the stamp -n- hash:
even if your modifying the code, it will add modified to it.
Cheers,
~Tung

Also the scripts for pies menu are missing apparently.
Edit: Also viewport updates seems to lag a little 2-3 seconds with this version. In previous one it was almost instant.
+ please get rid of the cycles stuff when adding nodes.

Very nice work on the plugin. I just got into Blender and this helps to streamline my production pipeline a whole lot!
A ran into something though, but maybe I'm missing something.
In the Octane standalone you can instance models around by importing CSV data. This is a really big deal for me. Especially since I heavily use it in the standalone to bring my VRAM usage down. Any plans to add this or is it there somewhere?

If you set the geometry type to scatter for the object you want to instance, it will do what you want

PMC doesn't want to work in one of my scenes with this version.

Can confirm the socket error. It is so annoying when octane just doesn't want to render anymore

@orion_uk,
As far as the missing .dlls, you can go here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=40784
I usually include them with my builds so their plug -n- play, but the link above will provide the same
Not sure about the other socket binding error (ô¿ô)
Cheers,
Tung

Sockets — turn off all Octane processes (make sure that they're not running via Task Manager).
DLLs — Just copy from Official Blender Trunk.
