Update on the original problem that prompted 0048.
I'm on Render session 6. So far If I exit out of Carrara and come back in again after each render session, the rendering is reliable. It is when I attempt more than one render without exiting Carrara that I get issues like, rotation not recognized, same frame repeating over and over etc. What I mean is, stay in Carrara, load up a new scene, render - that's when the issues occur.
For what it's worth this is how I made a full animation in DAZ (the re-render of episode 1). I had to keep exiting and checking that the first few frames were ok before leaving it to render.

Ok, good to know. This info should make it easier for me to repeat the issue. When you load a new scene do you unload the previous scene first or keep both/multiple scenes loaded at the same time?

Hi Sighman,
I was going to wait until the anim sequence of the physics cubes had finished and post the result but, as your floating about I will just say that your fix has indeed done a wonderful job and (so far) the sequence appears to be rendering correctly
Thank you for working on this and your attention to this issue, much appreciated

Heck, Why not..
Kept samples down to 250 for speed!
I am currently running an animation sequence at 125 samples with out camera motion blur so you get to see a sharper image..

Sighman,
I completely close Carrara between renderings.

UPDATE.
This might help. In my haste I forgot to close down Carrara, and guess what? It merged the scenes! (In the Octane render only, the carrara scene file is fine). Here the old scene has two booths, the new loaded scene has one.
Just look at the picture! We have 3 booths with the one in between the two. So something is not being cleared down. Hope this helps.

As promised, the 125 sample version, confirmation that its running great for me..
Once again, Thank you Sighman great work
Sci Fi Funk, had a few situations like that myself but not consistently reproducible!

Orion - lovin' those physics man! Looks a whole lot better with Octane rendering it vs Carrara.
re: similar things happening. I can't afford to leave long rendering runs, only to find at the end of the wait something random has gone wrong. In the short term then I shall always exit Carrara before loading another scene.
So we have a way out, but I hope this can be addressed.

SciFiFunk,
I have updated the installers in this thread. (They are the same version number)
I made 1 minor change that may have fixed the multi scene load problem but more importantly I have added some diagnostics to the plugin. If you happen to repeat the problem (either the scene merge or the stalled animation) please open the diagnostics window from the ORVP and send me a copy of the log.
Unfortunately, I have yet to repeat the problem. It might be scene specific.

Hi Sighman,
Hope you dont mind but I thought I might take advantage of this and make use of the same build too!
Basically its regarding the 'Blue RT Settings' issue which I can now reproduce upon call..
Here is a link to my dropbox with three separate videos recorded directly one after (don't worry, very short clips) the other showing how the issue is reproduced and providing log files. I did not include scene files as it takes up space and besides this happens on what ever scene I have open so is not project dependent!
(Dropbox link sent in PM version of this msg)for privacy.
PS: I don't expect you to jump on this right now as it is not a high priority issue, just thought it might help you to have data to examine when the right time comes
Regards, Orion.
