I've pointed to the standalone app in the settings panel. I've tried resending the scene, waiting for the render to begin and then going to FILE/EDIT IN STANDALONE. Empty
I also have a semi-related issue. When I go to FILE/Export to/Standalone Scene (ocs) then enter my filename/location and hit save it will totally jack up my render view. It doesn't change anything in the c4d viewport but the live viewer is wrecked and what's exported matches.
Any suggestions would be super helpful. These issues combined have made it very hard to get any use from the standalone.
Thanks

I can take a look for this on OSX. Maybe a repeat of old issue to find "standalone". What kind of scene you try to export? Still frame or animated? Do you have animated materials and lights?

the one I was currently working on was still with nothing animated. does the fix address both issues? I hope my description made sense.

:) thanks!

There is two commands for you.
1- Package orbx
2- Animated package orbx

As you may see 1 for stills and export as in LV's export structure. 2 is exporting all geometry as a ABC files and connect materials,etc... Takes more time to export all frames. Second one had a problem to assign materials to Arealights. In my wip version, i fixed this issue.

I get the same result with those too.

I did a quick scene to illustrate for you.

Don't worry about camera in LV after export completed. Just open exported "ORBX" in Standalone as i did. If camera is not connected to Rendertarget, connect it by manually. See my image.

I'm not seeing a camera in my exported scene, either ocs or orbx. The cam dropdown only shows thin lens or panoramic where you had shown "scene".

did you say there's a fix in the works for the empty "FILE/EDIT IN STANDALONE"?

Can't remember it. I should check it.

I think there is a problem with camera when use "export package". But i used animated orbx export. Take a look to it. If this is urgent, i can give 2.24 test version with some fix.

thanks,
I tried animated orbx, that seemed to work. It exported and prompted me to open in standalone, confirmed yet but came up empty. When I manually opened the file it appeared correct.
It's not urgent for a project or anything. I would like to see it in an update somewhat soon though but I can use this workaround for now while still getting familiar with the software.
thanks for all the help, much appreciated!
