Thanks Chopper - SM have enough to go on for the moment, and are looking at the issue. So sit tight - I will let know you know when I have more info.

Isn't this example the rayepsilon issue where it has to be set to 0 for transparent props (in this case the eyebrow)

An update on this issue. SM have proved additional info for how to get around the mesh tearing, however it is only a partial fix, so it is back with them.

Yes, it would be best if it's not a workaround. actual service pack would be lovely thank you for that date.

Is this possibly a more general issue? I just upgraded to the Game Dev version last week and have never tried animation in Octane for Poser until today, where I happen to experience the "disconnected seams" issue which began this topic. If I manually render each frame that is selected in Poser, no seams open up.
I set my license key back to the Pro 2014 level, but the seams still appear in each render frame. Sometimes, the first render frame looks OK, then the rest have this symptom.
Is it possibly an issue with version 10.0.0.4.27796 in general? That is, I didn't need to install anything new - this code base simply allows enabling of Pro Game Dev features by changing the license key.

Hi Wader
For the general seam issue - pls see question 30) at
http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=182.
Chopper's FBX seam issue is a Poser problem, which Smith Micro have recogised as a bug and will be fixed.

Thanks Paul - I was looking at the local v1.0 PDF manual and not that online FAQ page. Would be nice to have a local copy of that latest manual, too . . .
Changing the figure mesh setting in Poser fixed that seam problem for my animation renders after the first frame (including under Pro Game Dev).
