the first and most evident bug of this new build is:

Once you close the octane viewport window, it won't open anymore until you restart max or reload the scene!

it happens in most scenes and most of the times.

... and another bug:

- when I am able to open the second time Octane window, it shows me all the objects without their previously assigned material... just grey.
in my case all of them were instances with movable proxy assigned

I don't have this bug.
What 3dsmax version do you use?
Could you provide me with a simple scene where you always have this issue?

I use 3ds max 2014 - 64bit Sp3 installed.

the scene is too simple to even send it. just a plane, teapot with many subdivisions (20), octane sun (new version), path tracing with caustic blur set to max and octane glass material.

No, it is just minor changes.

Kernel switch without problems max 2014 but Info Channel dosent work.
But sometimes not any the Octane viewport hangs.
And i also think its faster
