Good to know you are serious about the Mac version JimStar. Personally for me though there is no big rush; I'm still trying to learn Blender

Acceptable causes. But. Is any reason for a usable network solution? Rather than doing a workstation that I use Windows. All my fav tools on OSX.JimStar wrote:Agree, Hackintosh may be only reason to have Mac version... I love the stability and usability of OSX (this post I type from Mac too), BUT: think about one other important thing. What amount of Octane users use OSX at all, and what amount among these users are smart enough to assemble their own Hackintosh?..
So, I will anyway code the Mac version, just a little later, as there are things to do with higher priority (and with much higher user-base who wait for it) at this time...
But don't worry: I have the Mac version in plans.
Sorry, I've not got what you mean... What for "network solution" you think can help you run special Octane version of Blender and Mac version of OctaneServer in OSX?..Aenima wrote:Acceptable causes. But anyway in this case you have to have Octane edition of Blender built for OSX.Aenima wrote:Soory my english +gtranslate= disaster.
I mean acces octane server over network. Eg. Octane server runs on a linux based pc and we acces it from a mac/hack over network.
Yes but I thought its a bit less work than make integrated + octane server. Or not? Im not a dev people. Blender on OSX is totally different than the Linux/Win one?JimStar wrote:But anyway in this case you have to have Octane edition of Blender built for OSX.Aenima wrote:Soory my english +gtranslate= disaster.
