Try this for R15:

Thanks aoktar,

I saw this (and Malaurny talked me about it before) --> it works but I have still a message about Octane.dll cannot be loaded.
I don't like to see this sort of thing :(
Just afraid about C4D stability
Hope you you will find something to avois this
Phil
Make sure you copy the files to the root and not just move them. If you move them, everything will work fine, but you'll get that error on startup. If you copy them (so the files are both in the Octane plugin folder and root folder), everything works fine and no error.

Just figured that out today after a few weeks of that error message.

Oddly (or not), this is not an issue on our Macs. TFD and Octane get along just fine.

Installed Cinema4d R15 + Octane Standalone + Octane for Cinema 4d.
Activated Stand Alone and it works just fine.
Cinema started without problem and loaded plugin .
Then I went to licensing section interred my login and password and pressed "Activate" and Cinema crashed.
Now it crashes all the time on start . so the problem not in cuda or api. the problem in activation process.
If I copy files into root folder, like described in manual, then Cinema4D will hang on start and will "eat" ALL memory of the system until Windows will go blue screen . Pure memory leak. :(

yeeesh.

FWIW, the only way i could get Octane to work in r15 and not experience what you just described (minus the memory leak part) on our Windows machine, was to install and activate on r14 first. Once i did that, r15 worked just fine. Not sure if there is another way around it.

Again, oddly, this wasn't an issue on the Macs.

problem cannot be leak or something. we got a few similar problem since last nvidia driver. Very possible there is a problem with this.
try with older drivers.

SVITAdmin - BIG THANKS !!!
The only way to make plugin work is to install Cinema4D R14 activate plugin in it. then run Cinema4D R15 and oh my God it's working and not crashing. Really fun experience :D
Now I can work, uff.

i found somethin for last driver and R15. It locked my C4D, and i removed nvapi.dll's from c4doctane directory and problems is resolved.
It's worth to try, isn't?
