hi ahmet - just testing the new 0.97 - and i have the feeling that it is working great.
love the new log view - even when it looks like a PC and not a mac ;-)
and i think you split the dialog from the view because now i can refresh on my work monitor an can look at the 2. monitor to the viewer - great!
and the hdri? what is the different between the texture enviroment? before we could use it aswell with hdri

one more question - if i dl a mix material from dblive - i still can not see the texture on the object in the c4d workspace viewer
is that a problem be me and my c4d?

cheer and i look forward for only one big wish - because i like the direct lighting with the world map ;-)

you must see mix materials on objects, but need to start a render sometimes.

Very excited to see the changes and progress! I know this is demo version but I have never had this in your other beta versions. There is a demo watermark over the render?

...This version, like the .87 beta just crashes C4D r15 on startup. No error details, just "c4d has stopped working".
C4D Runs fine without the plugin installed. I've tried copying the files from the plugin dir to the c4d root folder too. Even tried removing all other plugins. No success. Beta .79 was the last one that worked i think... What happend?

Hi Ahmet,

Thanks for all of the hard work! This version is looking good. I have never resolved my problem of long renders not finishing. I have a 300 frame animation and it gets about halfway and C4D either freezes or Octane just stopes rendering to the Picture Viewer. I am running OSX 10.8.4 on a Hackintosh with one GTX Titan GPU. It does this in R14 and R15. I thought it was my system's power settings, but it's not.

Just thought you should know and wondering if anyone else is having long renders not finish.

Gino

Hi Gino
We've had exactly the same problem with animation. You're not alone. This really needs to sorted out. Some animations have stopped only 15-30 frames in. Those were big files that used most of our vram. Maybe a memory leek? That would explain it stopping or crashing not long into it on really big files. And getting longer renders with smaller files.

What do you think Aoktar?

Alec

Yes, ofcourse...sorry....but where can i get a bugreport? it looks to me c4d does not create a bugreport when this happens?.. maybe because it is during the startup? I'm running Windows 8, intel i7 2600k, 16GB ram, Geforce GTX 580 and a vertex OCZ Vertex 3 SSD drive, Cinema 4D R15.037. C4D gives me a dialog box saying "Cinema 4D has stopped working" in the "Initializing Plugins..." part during startup.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall many times. It doesnt help.
